Welcome to My Thoughts

General collection of ideas thoughts and summarization on my different interests

Hello

Welcome to my personal website! Here, you'll find a mix of my interests and passions in engineering, science, energy, economics, behavioral economics, personal incentives, leadership, statistics, Bayesian statistics, management, goals, running, hiking, traveling, road trips, and more.

As a professional with expertise in mechanical, chemical, reservoir, and software engineering, I'm committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments across various industries. Beyond my work, I'm also an active person who enjoys engaging in activities such as running, weightlifting, and caring for my pets. Although international travel has been limited due to the pandemic, I remain an avid explorer, seeking new experiences and knowledge wherever possible.

My interest in engineering and science is driven by my passion for finding new and innovative ways to solve complex problems. I'm particularly drawn to energy and economics because of my desire to contribute to a more sustainable future. Additionally, my fascination with behavioral economics and personal incentives has led me to explore ways in which we can create positive change in individuals and organizations.

To further my understanding of current events and advancements, I devote time to reading and listening to podcasts. I listen at an accelerated rate, allowing me to consume more content in less time, and I'm compiling a curated list of recommended podcasts for the resources section of my website.

I believe in setting a limited number of ambitious goals and working towards achieving them with diligence and dedication. This approach allows me to maintain focus on these important objectives and also provides me with enough off-time to recharge and avoid burnout. By prioritizing a select few goals, I can allocate my time and energy more effectively and increase my chances of success.

I hope you'll enjoy browsing through my website and learning more about my passions and interests. Thank you for visiting!

About the dog

One of my pets, an English Mastiff named Schrodinger, is more than just a cherished member of my household. His name is a nod to the famous quantum mechanics thought experiment, which was envisioned by Erwin Schrödinger. While people often assume that the cat in the experiment would be named Schrodinger, I think from the cat's perspective it would not want to be named after the scientist responsible for its theoretical entrapment.

In closing

I want to say thank you to the teams that created Zola and the theme DeepThought. The software and themes that they developed helped in making my website possible.
